The Trifid Nebula The Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius is one of the most beautiful and recognisable nebula. For decades appearing on television, in movies, on album artwork and as a general background image in anything needing a spacey-looking theme. The Trifid Nebula is far from stereotypical. There really is no other nebula like it with it's combination of incredible red/pink hydrogen flower dissected by dark dust lanes and beautiful blue reflection nebula above.
